The Brantwood Foundation, believes that everyone deserves the opportunity to participate, connect, and be part of their community.

Our goal is simple: raise funds for the specialized equipment and programs that government funding doesn’t cover—and inspire a culture of giving that helps bring Brantwood’s mission to life.

Raising funds for the purchase of specialized wheelchair accessible vehicles remains a priority for the Brantwood Foundation. Accessible transportation opens doors—to community events, appointments, activities, friendships, and everyday adventures.

As a registered charity, the Foundation is guided by a dedicated volunteer Board of Directors and supported by people who believe in making a difference.

The Brantwood Foundation hosts two annual fundraising events. In partnership with Participation Support Services, the Annual Wheelchair Basketball tournament invites local teams to compete in a one day event while raising funds for both organizations since 1998. This premiere event raises funds and awareness for other community members who use assistive devices. Our goal is to increase accessibility and access for all community members.

The Brantwood Foundation honours Jo-Anne Flood, former Brantwood Executive Director who was a strong advocate for people served by Brantwood and an avid golfer prior to her passing. Now in it’s 29th year, the Annual Jo-Anne Flood Charity Golf Tournament continues to raise funds that supports the Brantwood Foundation through a fun filled golf day.
